Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!
(sorry for the long post!)

I wanted to put all of our Easter events into just one post. So here it is...

Our first Easter event was dying the eggs. This was Paxton's first year to participate and he really got into it. He wanted every egg to be blue (that must be his favorite color?)

The 2nd Event is the Easter Egg Hunt!
It didn't go very well this year. They did rounds for the kids starting from youngest and working up to the older kids. Paxton was in the youngest group so he was the first to go. Cory went with him to help him and I went to to take pictures. We told Alexis she needed to stay back until they told her she could go. Well.... apparently they told the next group to go (the one Alexis was in) but Cory and I didn't hear it and she didn't know that she could go. So poor girl stood there for the longest time until I finally noticed and told her she could go! By that time all the eggs were picked up and she only managed to get 2 eggs. She was heart-broken. I felt bad for her and I felt like a horrible mom for not paying more attention. So here are the pictures I did get... not very many.

Easter morning!

The Easter bunny visited us and he brought lots of presents. =)

And of course...EASTER DAY!

We spent the day at my grandparents house, just like we do every year. We had a big meal, and by big...I mean HUGE! Then we let the kids play outside with their bubbles. All my cousins and uncles joined them. I think they may have enjoyed it more than the kids! Ha!

It was a perfect, beautiful day. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family to spend holidays with.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!
