Golden Birthday

I'm 26 on the 26th! My GOLDEN Birthday!

My day was perfect.

It started out by taking Alexis to school. While she was at school I took a shower and got ready. Cory watched Paxton. It was peaceful. We picked Alexis up from school and went to Olive Garden for lunch, delicious, as always. We came home and put Pax down for a nap and I headed off to Victoria Secret to spend my gift card (thanks mom and dad!) I was able to buy 2 new bras! Wahoo! Cory got me a chocolate birthday cake and my 2 lil lovebugs sang to me!

We celebrated a couple of days later with my brother and future sis-in-law. We went to a bar and grill and ate way too much food and had way too many drinks. =) It was a great time.

I even won free tickets to a hockey game!

He leaves behind

a trail of dirt

no matter how

he tries.

And at the end

of every day,

he still can run

and shout.

When he should

be TIRED and

sleeping, it's

MOM who's all

worn out!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I helped out at Alexis' preschool Valentine's Day party. They decorated cookies, had lots of treats and then the kids exchanged Valentine's.

That afternoon Alexis and I received some beautiful flowers from Cory!

When Paxton woke up from his nap we decided to give the kids their Valentine's Day gifts.

Alexis got a Hello Kitty water dispenser. She is obsessed with these things!

Paxton got a huge dinosaur!

Aren't they so cute with their gifts?

And then... Valentine's Day went wrong....

We still took them out to dinner. The fighting and crying continued so I didn't take any pictures.

Ohhh I was happy for this day to be over! =)

4 year attitude

She's been 4 for almost 2 months. It's been hard!

The 2's were awful for us. Really awful. The 3's were so wonderful and I really REALLY enjoyed her throughout her 3's. We had minimal behavioral issues and she was over-all a really great kid who listened, helped and was such a sweetie.

Then the 4's happened......

It seemed to happen over night. She talks back. She stomps off to her bedroom and slams the door when she doesn't get what she wants. She whines. Whines a lot. Bossy. She thinks she knows everything. The list could go on and on...

I'm exhausted trying to figure out how to handle all this new behavior she's brought on.

Silhoutte!

I've been wanting to learn how to do silhoutte's for a year now! I just never tried.

After reading a tutorial on how to do it, I asked Alexis if she could help me out. She was willing!

This was the very first shot I got and I was thrilled with it! No editing at all.

I'm looking forward to nicer weather so I can take the kids out and get silhoutte's of them!

Valentine's party!

I decided to host a Valentine's party at our house with some of the neighborhood kids. All the kids brought little Valentien's to exchange and we all had lots and lots of heart-shaped food for the kiddos too. It was a great party! I love this group of kids, they're all so wonderful.
